Sparkle Tree Studios Is on YouTube: Bedtime Songs for Little Ones

Sparkle Tree Studio has a YouTube channel! Sparkle Tree Studios is where we're sharing animated songs for toddlers, preschoolers and early learners, painted in the same soft watercolour style as our stories.

We've started with bedtime. Our first five videos are gentle lullabies and sleep songs, each one a short, calm scene with a sleepy animal friend: capybaras under the stars, a capybara tucked up in bed, a bear in a hollow-tree bedroom and a capybara shepherd counting sheep. They're between one and a half and three and a half minutes long, made for the very end of the day.

Our first five songs

What makes them bedtime songs

  • Soft and slow. Gentle melodies and calm, unhurried animation: flowers swaying, stars twinkling, sleepy eyes closing.
  • Short on purpose. One song is a full stop at the end of the day, not the start of a playlist.
  • Familiar routines. Getting tucked in, saying goodnight and counting sheep, so little ones see their own bedtime in the story.
  • Watercolour worlds. Deep blue night skies and warm lamplight instead of bright, busy colours.

What's coming next

The channel will grow beyond bedtime: sing-along nursery rhymes, animated stories with characters like Poppy the Dragon, and early-learning videos about numbers, letters, colours and shapes. Subscribe on YouTube to see new videos as they arrive.

Watching together

We make our videos for families to watch together. A few tips: dim the screen before bedtime songs, sit with your little one and talk about what you see, and turn the screen off when the song ends. Then sing a goodnight song of your own.

Each song has its own post here on the Adventures page, with what's in the video, bedtime ideas and a little activity for the next day. Start with whichever animal your child likes best.
