About Sparkle Tree Studio
✨ Our Mission
Sparkle Tree Studio is a creative studio making stories, songs and creative tools for young children, starring Poppy the Dragon and friends. We believe that every child deserves access to magical, safe, and inspiring stories.
We're building a calm, ad-free corner of the internet where imagination comes first.
🐉 Meet Poppy
Poppy is our little teal-green dragon, with big pink-lined ears and a rainbow knitted scarf, who guides children through every adventure. From the Sparkle Tree canopy to the deepest cosmic forests, Poppy shows kids that creativity has no limits.
Poppy and friends star in our books, songs and activities, which are about friendship, courage and loving what makes you different.
🛡️ Safety First
Child safety is part of how everything here is built. In plain terms, here is what that means:
- 🚫 No adverts, and no advertising tracking
- 👤 No accounts: children never need to give us a name or email address
- 🎨 Creation Kit designs are made on your own device, and nothing is uploaded unless a grown-up places an order
- 🍪 Analytics only if a grown-up accepts the cookie banner
- 👨👩👧 A grown-up check before any print order
We follow the principles of the ICO's Age Appropriate Design Code (the Children's Code). Our Privacy Notice explains exactly what we collect.
🎨 How We Make Things
We use AI tools to help create our illustrations and animations, then choose, edit and check every one ourselves before it is published. Our storytelling tool, the Dream Machine, turns stories into animated books that read themselves aloud.
📚 Sparkle Tree Press
Our sister site, Sparkle Tree Press, publishes the Poppy the Dragon books in Kindle and paperback and hosts the Dream Machine, a free library of animated storybooks.
